Privacy Policy

Gresp ("we," "us," "our") operates gresp.ca. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and a securely hashed password — or, if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID, name, and email.
• Uploaded data — any regional case-count and mobility datasets you upload for training, plus the resulting model outputs.
• Usage data — basic technical logs (e.g., request logs) needed to operate and secure the service.

We do not collect individual patient records or personal health information — only aggregate, regional-level data you choose to upload.

How we use it

• To provide the forecasting service, including training models on the data you upload for your own account.
• To manage your account and respond to support requests.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where your data is stored

Account data, uploaded datasets, and model outputs are stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. Sign-in via Google is handled directly by Google's OAuth service — we never see your Google password.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a CSRF token to protect form submissions. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@gresp.ca. If you're located in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada, you have rights under applicable privacy law (including Quebec's Law 25) to access and request correction of your personal information.

Data retention

We retain your account and uploaded data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

Children's privacy

Gresp is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the date above if this policy changes materially.
