Terms of Service

By using gresp.ca ("the Service"), you agree to these terms.

The Service

Gresp provides epidemic forecasting tools, including a live demo and a self-serve model training pipeline on user-uploaded data, offered under a free "Demo" plan and a paid "Basic" plan.

Important disclaimer

Gresp's forecasts are generated by a statistical model and are provided for informational and research purposes only. They are not medical advice, and not a substitute for guidance from public health authorities. Do not rely on Gresp as the sole basis for any public health, clinical, or operational decision.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when you sign up.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: upload data you don't have the right to use; attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the service (including its training infrastructure); or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Your data

You retain ownership of any data you upload. By uploading it, you grant us permission to process it solely to provide you the forecasting service.

Our content

The Gresp platform, model, and branding are our property. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that to you.

Paid plans

The Basic plan is billed monthly. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gresp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Changes to these terms

We'll update the date above if these terms change materially. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
